Born 1954 in Bismarck ND, on the prairie, so I am not a tree worshipper.
I have been a mechanical designer for 28 years, a home builder for 2 years (thank you all for my tax return), a worker bee and a contractor's rep for a home improvement big box company, and an unemployed free-lance ? for a year.
I believe in reducing the overall size of government, partly by getting the government completely out of some things, but mostly by moving the control downward to the level doing the work. I believe in the Declaration of Independence where it says "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." There is an order to those three rights, and the 2nd amendment is crucial to the first two. I believe in a lot of other principles- browse my blog and see what interests you.
